OMAR HABBAK

Omar Habbak is a creative producer, composer, writer, and director based in Southern California. Over the past 11 years, his work has moved across film, music, fine art, and faith-rooted media, with experience at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions, Henry Jackman’s Sacred Tiger, Warner Bros. Pictures Music, DreamWorks Animation, and Yaqeen Institute of Islamic Research.

He currently serves as an Executive Producer at Yaqeen Institute, where he leads the development and production of original video series, including the Salahuddin series — shaping narrative structure, visual direction, editorial rhythm, team workflows, and audience impact.

Omar has also created music and sound design for world-renowned visual artist ThankYouX, contributing to multiple works presented through Sotheby’s and major gallery spaces. His sound work focuses on building emotional atmosphere around visual experiences, helping each piece feel immersive, cinematic, and alive.

His independent projects include directing and composing the CG-animated short film Innermost, scoring the feature film Lifeline, and writing, designing, and self-publishing the poetry series I Found You In Everything, Volumes 1 & 2.

Notable works include the score for Viewpoint, a Warner Bros. short directed by Jon Burton, Pharaoh, an SVA award-winning short with over 12 million views, and Crutch-Tap, produced by Paul Broucek, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Music.
